I-40 Applications

Possessing an ability to deliver water accurately and efficiently at distances up to 74 feet, our top-of-the-line commercial rotor has earned the distinction of being the number one choice at sports facilities the world over. But the I-40 is not only a favorite at stadiums, courts, practice fields and other playing surfaces, the long distance specialist is also a proven performer at parks and commercial sites as well. It's no wonder why with features like the ProTech^(TM) safety system, two secondary nozzles that offer exceptional mid-range and close-in coverage, a stainless steel riser, the factory-installed drain check valve, and a new self-adjusting variable stator that enhances the life of the gear drive.

ProTech^(TM): When it comes to safety, less is more.
When rotors are installed at sports facilities- whether for football, baseball, soccer or lacrosse- the less exposed surface area on the rotor, the more safe that playing surface will be. With our ProTech^(TM) safety system, the revealed portion of our heavy duty rubber cover is of the smallest possible size to minimize the possibility of contact with athletic participants or children at play. Also, with a rubber boot surrounding the rubber cover, there are no metal or hard plastic components close to the surface, so the entire top of our I-40 comercial rotors are flexible and user friendly. That's why, if limiting your facility's liability concerns is a top priority, the bottom line is you need the ProTech^(TM) safety system.

Trying to guarantee no brown spots and attain the greatest degree of water efficiency at the same time? The I-40's wind resistant three-nozzle design is the answer. No other rotor can deliver the level of uniformity that Hunter's top-of-the-line rotor can in the 60-70 foot range. And that distinction didn't just happen yesterday. The I-40's track record is time proven- it's been field tested for more than 15 years at the finest facilities the world over.

Warranty

Hunter Industries warrants all Hunter Professional Series I40 rotors to be free of defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for a period of five (5) years from the original date of manufacture. If a defect in a Hunter product is discovered during the applicable warranty period, Hunter will repair or replace, at it's option, the product or defective part.
