Solid conductor single-strand wire
Please see our wire size table to verify the size wire you need. In the majority of cases, 16 gauge wire is large enough, but for very long runs or runs feeding several valves simultaneously, a larger size (14 gauge) may be needed. |

Suitable for use with our waterproof twist on wire connectors pictured at right. For most valve "common" connections, you will have a solid white wire coming to the joint, a solid white wire leaving the joint, and a stranded wire going to the valve solenoid (a total of three wires). For these connections, use one large (tan) waterproof twist on wire connector. For the last valve "ground" connection, you will have a solid white ground wire coming to the joint and a stranded wire going to the valve solenoid (a total of two wires). For these connections, use one small (blue) waterproof twist on wire connector. For most valve "hot" connections, you will have a solid red hot wire coming to the joint and a stranded wire going to the valve solenoid (a total of two wires). For these connections also, use one small (blue) waterproof twist on wire connector. |
