Round Valve Boxes

We have two sizes of round valve boxes available. The 6" box is what we recommend for a 1" or smaller electric valve. If you have a large valve to install or need more working room than a standard box provides, we recommend the 10" round valve box. If you have any doubts about fitting valves in these boxes we recommend buying the larger size box. The approximate measurements are given below.

  • Lid: 6" diameter
  • Top opening: 5" diameter
  • Bottom: 8" diameter

• 10" Round Valve Box
  • Lid: 12" diameter
  • Top opening: 10" diameter
  • Bottom: 13" diameter

Rectangular Valve Boxes

We have two sizes of rectangular valve boxes available. The standard size rectangular box is large enough to fit a 1" DCA. It can comfortably accommodate three 1" electric valves, or if you are careful you can fit a four-valve manifold (but it will be a very tight fit). The jumbo rectangular valve box will comfortably fit a four-valve manifold, and you may be able to fit as many as six valves if your fittings are compact and the manifold is constructed carefully. If you have any doubts about fitting valves in these boxes we recommend buying a larger size, or additional boxes. It is far easier to install and maintain valves when they are installed in generous sized valve boxes. The approximate measurements for these valve boxes are given below.

  • Lid: 12" x 17"
  • Top opening: 9" x 14 1/2"
  • Top outside: 12" x 17"
  • Bottom outside: 16" x 21"

• Jumbo Rectangular Valve Box
  • Lid fits in opening: 13" x 19 1/2"
  • Top opening: 12 1/2" x 18 1/2"
  • Top outside: 14 1/2" x 21"
  • Bottom outside: 19" x 26"
